Even being a celebrity doesn’t guarantee you immunity from making the classic mistakes when you’ve been dumped by your lover.

Sienna Miller recently dumped Rhys Ifans (over the phone, would you believe it!) apparently because of his jealousy and their long distance relationship.

Ifans, totally devastated, has taken the break up really badly, spending the week drinking and constantly texting Sienna, begging her to change her mind. ” He’s really desperate to get her back.” said a source close to Ifans.

Well, the key phrase in all that is “really desperate”. Ifans has been committing a basic deadly sin if he wants any chance of getting his girlfriend back. He’s spent the time trying to numb his pain with alcohol, which then causes him to become a text terrorist, which leads to very unappealing begging and coming across as really needy and desperate.

But poor guy, he’s not an orphan in that behavior. How many of us have done similiar acts, thinking that is only we could promise or beg or whine enough our ex would finally see how much we loved them and come rushing back to us?

And I bet it worked real well…NOT.

If Ifans really wants a chance with Sienna (trusting he hasn’t blown it yet), then he should toss his cell phone, lock away the booze and take a week or so away for himself. But most of all he would probably benefit from the advice offered HERE.
